It’s My Life

Hello. Andi Magnuson is studying journalism broadcast at Ole Miss and is a disc jockey, known by many as DJ Dandi, she is striving hard to accomplish her goals by completing her bachelors degree in May 2018. Writing has an integral role in her life as it is a required part of her chosen professional career. Magnuson is determined to be an intern for Kix 106, a local country radio station located in Memphis. With this internship, she will learn a better concept for all aspects of radio and writing internet content for the station. She is a highly motivated individual who loves to interact with people and takes interest in overcoming challenges both personal and professional. Before becoming a student, Magnuson started a career as disc jockey. Since December 2011, she has been striving to prove herself as a force to be reckoned within the disc jockey world. She has been known to disc jockey in the northwest Mississippi areawide and plans to stay in this field even after she receives her degrees until she makes a name for herself as a radio personality. Magnuson’s goals for the future is to become a radio personality on country radio station or maybe even one of the top 40 stations. In the future after she accomplishes the goal of becoming a radio personality, she would like to have either her own show or talk show. Also, Magnuson takes pride in the ability of being able to see the comical aspects of life, so she may even later on try a hand in stand-up comedy to see where it takes her.
