Project Management Software

Online project management systems are developed to organize all steps of the writing for teams writing project together. There are many kinds of project management systems that could be used for the collaborations of projects. Some are for more localized project others are for global projects. One of the kinds that I found that may be easily workable is Trello. According to their website “Trello’s boards, lists, and cards enable you to organize and prioritize your projects in a fun, flexible and rewarding way.” Another thing is that the service is free and it states that it is free for life. I can do free. Also, it seems like it may be more effective than the waterfall method which is the more traditional form of project management. Even the text on pg. 325 agrees with the fact that the “waterfall method is well understood and comfortable for many developers, but it not the most efficient model, and following it can mean that organizations design products and services that are not appropriate for their audiences.” which may be a communication error online project management systems still allow for all the steps of project management such as “planning, research and information gathering, composition/invention, reviewing and/or testing against quality criteria, revision, production, and dissemination,” ch 13 pg 329. Trello’s website has tiles so every part of the process can have its own tile. Each person can work independently on their own aspects of the project or help others with their part of the project without having to use multiple platforms. All collaboration can be done in one place.
