Summarize the article — include your reaction, thoughts, anything to help you remember its claims. 100 to 150 words The article broke down different aspects of discourses. It broke down five main aspects of discourses. One is that discourses are inherently ideological. Two is that discourses are resistant to internal criticism and self scrutiny since uttering viewpoints that seriously undermine them is defined one as being outside them. Three is discourse defined positions from which to speak and behave are not however defined just internally. Four is that any discourse concerns itself with certain objects and puts forward certain concepts, viewpoints, and values at the expense of others.
Define new terms and concepts by quoting or paraphrasing the original author. Discourse-a socially accepted association among ways of using language, of thinking, and of acting that can be used to identify oneself as a socially meaningful group or “socail network”.
