Summarize the article — include your reaction, thoughts, anything to help you remember its claims. 100 to 150 words | In this article Jones refers to the metaphor used for argument is war. The concepts we use in arguing are also many of the same concepts used in the structure of war. Jones also refers to the last major debate in 2008 which lowered the standards of argumentation. Many of the arguments people have are related, but they are different issues with different premises. I agree with Jones when it comes to this because many of the arguments I have seen relate to this circumstance, especially presidential debates. I also think the word “war” is a very good representation for arguments. Argument is war. |

This article is different from our other readings because we have not read about arguments. But this article does relate to my own research because I have also noticed arguments are war. You are fighting against someone else for what you believe is right. |
