It is important for college students to read, discuss and write about books like What the Eyes don’t See because it shows students overcoming problems and not giving up. The book talks about the Flint water crisis and how people did not give up and they fought for what was being over looked and how they were being treated from the government. It is also good for students to read this book so that we do not repeat history and make the same mistakes that sadly do happen over and over sometimes. Most importantly it shows how all kinds of people can come together to find solutions to huge problems and people do not always have to be divided.

Willingham Response
Willingham’s purpose is to bring awareness to the fact that people may think they multi-task well, but they will still be distracted and miss important details.
Willingham’s audience is people who can drive, study or multi-taskers.
I would say that Willingham’s stance would be more towards the side of not agreeing with multi-tasking, but he does not completely cancel out people who may believe that it works in some situations, such as, say listening to music while studying.
I believe that this op-ed is convincing and persuasive because Willingham uses many surveys and other evidence to show the audience real life forms of how people feel when trying to multi-taskĀ and if they are successful or not.
Initialize Reflective Blog
I would consider one of my greatest strengths as a writer to be being able to get very deep into a thought and become very detailed.
My greatest weaknesses in writing would have to be getting a thought out and finding a good way to say what I want to without falling into tangents or loosing tract of what the actual point is.
Some parts of writing projects that cause me the most stress would have to be coming up with an idea for a paper. Other parts that cause me the most stress would have to be writing thesis statements, introductions and conclusions.
