I love to learn many things. I have had an attraction toward anything dealing with politics since I participated in the Trent Lott program for high school students. I like to learn about the things that affect me in my everyday life. Before coming to college, I thought that I liked Biology but that theory has been proven dead wrong. One of my favorite classes is Psychology, and I think that is so because it focuses on what makes us who we are. Psychology also makes me feel like I am in a medical class which excites me because I am a pre-med student (for now). It is a little odd to have politics and medicine as my two favorite subjects to learn, but I guess that’s what makes me who I am.

  1. One of my favorite things about college is the fact that being different is accepted, and sometimes praised. I don’t know of any other people whose favorite subjects are Psychology, Political Science, and Writing. Those are three odd combinations to throw in together. I think that no matter what I decide pursuing, I can’t give up. I started out this semester with several friends in my Biology class. All of us took the class because we wanted to be doctors and it was the first requirement. One by one they have been dropping like tributes in “The Hunger Games” leaving me the lone victor. I hate that class with the passion of a thousand suns, but nothing in the world could make me stop trying. If God has it in his plan for me to re-take it next year, I’m okay with that. If I give up, I let the class win. I will not let that happen.
