Listening to this podcast has really allowed me to sit back and think about my life and what I need to focus on while I come into my freshman year of college. One thing that I really thought was helpful was when they talked about always making friends with those around you in the class and making sure your professor gets to know you. If you can do these things the class will be a whole lot easier because you will be able to feel comfortable asking for help. And know that you will always have a friend or even the professor to assist you in whatever you need to succeed. I am really looking forward to seeing my writing skills improve throughout the year and also hopefully meet new people that will be in my class. One thing though I am not really excited to have to do is peer review. I am always super scared that when I correct someone they are going to take it wrong and not like me.
