After reading this piece on the Liberal Rednecks I believe they successfully hit a lot of pressing topics that resonated with many other people. One of which being the stereotype that every small town citizen has the same ideals and conservative opinions as their environment which they clearly point out that is not true with clear cut examples from the three boys. One big point they kept reiterating was the stigma revolving around transphobia and homophobia, I noticed how they brought this up in almost every show as this was one of their centerpieces of their work and what they stood for. One of the factors in this piece I find problematic is how they constantly lessen the worth and value of a church or small southern community by exposing it to the stereotypes they use in every show to better what they want to believe in without thinking of the impact it has on these places.

School Lunches
There are many distinct factors that come to mind when I think of school lunches, the loud commotion of chatter all across the large cafeteria is the first thing that comes to mind because I distinctly remember just how loud that place can get especially when something gets everyone riled up. Which brings me into my next topic which was the daily drama that happened during lunch there was always some big thing that would happen like to boys fighting or something of the sort. I always had the cafeteria food as a kid because it was not all that bad our school had Chik fil a and dominos everyday in the cafeteria so we were pretty grateful for that.
The Tyranny & the Comfort of Government Cheese
The way he described government cheese was a light in the dark for his community, From his perspective because of his upbringing he views this as a comfort food which is also a metaphor for how he compares to others under the same government, how maybe someone wealthier would rather see a steak or lobster than cheese.

My semester intentions for this year; academically I would like to continue my reasonably good grade point average from last semester finishing this semester with an improvement, as well as decreasing my procrastination efforts. another intention I have for the semester on a personal note is to maintain my new truck i received over break and finally my last intention socially is to have as much fun as possible before the semester ends
