In this article about discourse communities, the first thing that caught my eye was the list of what makes a discourse community. Then they go on to go into depth about the different aspects of this concept and how it is applied. This subject did not seem foreign to me because of the article we read previously to this. I always find these articles somewhat interesting because I always learn something new that I was not yet aware of. That is an occurrence that I always enjoy. This was also a subject that I did not think that there would be much to say about. After reading this I now know that is not the case. |
