Revision Reflection

While completing the revisions module I learned more than I thought I would have. I didn’t know that there as many steps to revision as the module showed.

One concept that I learned from this module is that Revision is not only proofreading. Everything we write has to flow, so when writing about a certain topic it is okay to have a change of mind. Its okay if while writing your thesis changes because of the information in your body paragraphs.

I learned in this module that writing has a style and that the words we use and how the are phrased can attract the reader more or turn the reader away from the writing. I learned that the revision process doesn’t have to be done alone. It is better if a second opinion is involved.

Another concept I learned throughout this module is that grammar and mechanic errors are commonly made. While writing a rough draft for an essay it is okay to make those mistakes but, as it comes to the final draft those mistake have to be minor or non-existent.
