| Summarize the article — include your reaction, thoughts, anything to help you remember its claims. 100 to 150 words | The article to me, as one was about discourses. I learned there are two different types and that they have something to do with reading. The types of readings mentioned were more or less about learning new languages. The passage did start off talking about linguist, which are people I perceive to speak different languages, but not in a way that a translator would. I thought the article was a little hard to understand. The viewpoints were all over the place and it talked about several things that did not seem to connect. I could say that I learned what literacy is and I guess different ways it could be used. |
