My student manager job requires a lot of time and takes a lot of hard work to become successful. I have to make sure all the basketballs and pads are out and ready for practice every day. I also have to make the gatorade and all gatorade bottles. During practice I will help make sure every coach, player, and other student managers have what they need in order for the team to be successful. My job is also making sure there is a good flow through the drills and 5 on 5 drills we do everyday. I also give great positive energy during practice and pump up the guys when we practice well. I also have to help rebound and clean up the gym after practice and that takes a lot of time because the guys have to make a certain amount of shots. After I complete my post practice duties I will make sure all coaches have everything they need. I sometimes do the laundry only once a week but during laundry I have time to do my homework. After the laundry is washed and dried I will put up all laundry and hang it back in the players, coaches, and managers lockers. After I finish with hanging up the laundry I will make sure the locker room and gym is cleaned and no trash around the facility. I also pack the shoe bag for each player to their preferred pair of shoes for what they want to practice in and play the games in. I also have to make sure the locker room is clean.
