Research Talk

1) What have you done for your research so far?

So far for my research on Mattawan Dream Team & childhood cancer, I have completed 2 interviews, multiple rough drafts, discussed my plan with peers, planned ahead with a schedule, found research about my topic, and about discourse communities.

2) What do you still need to do?

Something big that I still need to do is work on the design aspect, how will I lay all my information out to readers? What is the most effective and knowledgeable way to do this?

3) What are your research problems/concerns?

My research is focusing on a student lead organization fighting against childhood cancer, the problem I am having with my research is I want to get one more interview with someone who has been helped by the team, a possible patient, survivor, or family member.

4) What has gone well in the research? (150+ words)

Something that I have found that has gone well with my research is how active the members are in response to my interview questions, during my initial interview I had great interactions and responses with Allison. And now after working or drafting a few things I have had more questions pop up that I wanted answers for and she answered very quickly.
