Have any aspects of your life improved since you joined the organization?

“When I was younger my parents would take my brother and I to the kickball fundraiser and we always had a blast and since the first time we went I’ve wanted to be a member of the Dream Team.  I have been a Dream Team member for 2 years now.  We have had parades for kids birthdays, fundraisers such as a silent auction, trivia night, and talent shows, and we even help out with setting up and planning kids “last” birthday parties.  We would usually do in person meetings but with COVID we have to do our meetings through Google Meet.  We also have remind texts and a Google Classroom set up. Mrs. Amanda Rounds is the adult in charge but it is pretty much all student run.  My whole life has been significantly changed since I became a part of this wonderful organization.  I have gotten to see and experience so many new things with the Dream Team that really have changed my perspective on life and how we live it.  I feel like being a part of the Dream Team has made me a better person overall!”
