Before this class, I was not very familiar with the New York Times. I had heard about the famous newspaper/website but was never really interested in reading it. Now that I am in this class, it has peaked my interest. It is nice to see what is going on in the world.

After being in this class for about 4 months, I have really come to enjoy the New York Times. I even allowed them to send me emails on what is going on in the world. I have never really been a fan of the news, because I feel like everything that goes on in our world is bad. It would always bring me down to see what was happening in the news, so I just never watched or read it. If I had never taken this class, I would probably never have been interested in the New York Times. I now know what is going on in the world. It is still sad, but at least I am informed.
