I define a writer as anyone using written words to communicate with others or to create a piece of work. A writer produces works such as novels ,short stories, books, poetry ,essays, songs, and many other other texts that can be seen on or in different formats. As a writer, I feel as if I am good at organizing what I want to write about but not great at revising or the grammatical part of the process. On most of my writing assignments, I received great feedback on my topics and the information I was using but lacked the grammatical skills. An example of this is my rough draft of our first major project about our literacy sponsors. From both Professor Gillespie and my peer group, I was told my information and set up were great but my grammatical mistakes were ruining my writing. This was also the case for Major Project 4. I feel as an writer I am growing but I am better at organizing information than editing my writing.
