My earliest memory of “going online” is logging onto my AOL account when I was probably 12 or 13.  We still had dial-up at that time and it took 5 minutes to connect to the internet and almost as long to load a website.  The largest milestone when I first began using the internet was creating a Facebook page and I had to have my dad show me how. This is ironical because now I have to show my parents how to use the internet and how to use their computer.  The internet has revolutionized how I do research for school and learn about anything I have a question about. Previously you’d have to ask someone and if they didn’t know you’d have to find a book to research a topic.
