So I think I’m pretty good at researching. It can be harder depending on the subject, but I think overall if you find the right sources, it makes things flow easily. I am less good at analyzing arguments, but it’s still a pretty good area for me. Sometimes getting my thoughts out in a convincing way is hard for me, it’s just hard to look at things as a whole while I’m writing, but generally, it flows together. For me, discerning the validity of information in sources is pretty easy. I feel like it just takes some common sense and critical thinking, and usually, it’s easy to tell. Starting by mostly using databases for peer-reviewed articles is where I start to get the biggest chunk of my information, and if I have to I go to google and I just make sure I pick the best reputable sources from there. Finally, picking out the best information for a final draft is mostly writing a whole rough draft then the next day reading through to find problem paragraphs that need editing, removing, or adding to. Pretty simple :).
