Wazzam wit it, my name is Seth Hunter. I am on the Ole Miss Rebels football team. I want to incorporate more creativity into my writing. In a peer review group I would like honesty, but not too, don’t make me cry. I can communicate whenever, after 12:30-9:00 PM. I am thirty-seven percent Slytherin, thirty-two percent Gryffindor, twenty-two percent Ravenclaw, and nine percent Hufflepuff.  Prefered email shunter1@go.olemiss.edu. No option two.

Reflect on how your race, gender, identity affected your reading/writing life/and or identity.

The year was 2010, I attended a prodimenantly white elementary school.I am a dark-skin African American. Like Kimmy,  I was also looked at different because of my skin color. Unlike Kimmy though, I wasn’t hated because I looked different. I was more made fun of and teased because I was darker than most of my friends. They would say things like; why do you have a hairbrush you have no hair, or how did you get so dark do you not wear sunscreen, or you must be from Africa, because not even some of them are as dark as you. Comments like these really lowered my self-esteem, I started to let my hair grow out, I  would also spent less time outside so I would get lighter. It was a rough time but I soon learned to be comfortable in my skin and not care about what other people thought about me.
