Two pieces of advice that I think may prove to be useful is to not procrastinate and things do not always go as planed. I figure everyone has been given the advice to not procrastinate, but yet so many people still do it. I am guilty of procrastinating on many occasions, but it will be useful not to in college or in this class. By not procrastinating I will not feel so overwhelmed at the last minute and turn something in that does not display my best work. The second advice and the one that stood out to me the most was ‘things don’t always go as planned.’ I have always stressed about my grades and will easily breakdown over a bad grade. So I think this advice will remind me that when I get a bad grade back to not freak out, but to figure out what I did wrong and fix it.
The thing I am most excited for this year is recruitment and to find girls to surround myself with that will support me not only in school, but with life. I am least looking forward to exams. I have never liked taking test or having to study, and I know I will have to do more of this now that I am in College.
One piece of advice I would give to an incoming senior is to not give in to the ‘Senior Slide.’ All it will do is lead to your grades falling and missing piling up.
