I learned that the everything should be connected in the essay/outline. There should be common ideas and patterns in each section. Everything should link and connect. I think that the informal outline helped me with everything and will help my essay go better when I write it. I think learning about the common ideas and patterns will help. Everything would be connected and linked in the essay by similar things that goes along with each story and then the section about myself.

This week in class from Ten Little Indians, in the story “Lawyer’s League” the character Richard encountered many things. One thing is that he stopped playing basketball and went to Washington, the school his parents went to, and wanted to pursue his dream in becoming a senator then the president. He still loved basketball. Someone invited him to play basketball with some of his lawyer friends. He then meets Big Bill and since Richard is good basketball, everything he did Big Bill wasn’t happy about it. Big Bill made a racist joke and that’s when Richard punched him in the face.
In my history class, my professor have us a syllabus. In the syllabus it had a schedule of what we will be doing. History is one of my weakest subjects and knowing that I am afraid that I won’t pass his class with the grade I want. If he has tutoring, I will go to every session because I really want all A’s or just A’s and B’s. Most likely I will do good in his class because I will try my best and focus.
