What types of writing have you done before? How do you expect WRIT 101 to be different from your previous writing experience? How do you expect it to be similar? Finally, how much to you like/dislike writing?
The majority of my writing consists of expressive rants on social media. However, I did write short stories in my free time when I was younger, and I do enjoy writing (and reading) quite a bit. As of recent, I have not had ample free time, so I have not, in fact, been writing. I expect WRIT 101 to broaden my skills and interest in writing and story telling. This is the same expectation I have always had for every writing class, although my expectations are quite high since this is my first year of college. Thank you 🙂

My expectations have indeed been met. As expected, Writ 101 has broadened my skills and interest in writing. When I wrote this post, I thought I would end up with a greater love for writing itself alone. However, my expectations have been exceeded: I have found greater love for writing as well as a tad bit of pride.
