How does the type of writing you’re doing influence the technology you use?
The type of writing I engage, either in class or out, has an influence on the technology I use. For a majority of my classes I take notes on my laptop because this is the quickest and simplest method. Usually this type of writing is in sentence form with a subject, verb, and object and follows a linear pattern. Since I’m left handed I primarily rely on my laptop to take notes and write papers since it’s the quickest for me. In my Latin class I rely solely on pen and paper since these notes are usually not in sentence form and I rely on charts and graphs which cannot be typed as easily in Word. When writing essays or letters I never write them by hand since my handwriting is terrible and it’s much easier to catch spelling and grammar mistakes using Word than when handwriting.

Interesting that you connect writing on your laptop to the grammatical form of the sentence, and that you would rather do language work by hand. This makes a lot of sense now that I think about it.
