It explains how arguments are never looked at as a way to learn and discuss views but rather they are seen as “war”. The part of the essay where Jones explains it in a political debate environment really stuck out to me. She describes that the arguments are more of a speech than an argument and that this is how most arguments happen and I 100% agree. |
