I was told that most people are prejudiced because of the way their parents raised them. As I was doing my research, I found out that when children are influenced by their parents it’s sociological. It is called the socialization process. I know that children are influenced by their parents, but I never knew there was a definition for it.

After writing this connect ten, I started to think about how a lady in my church went to Walmart, and a little girl, about three or four years old, pointed at her and asked her grandfather, “Is that a nigger granddad?” A little girl should not even know what that word means. It was obvious that she was not taught when and where to say the word. This shows that parents are still teaching their kids their prejudices.
